Creating a new user account

You can create as many user accounts as needed, but only one account may be logged into MaxCrypt at any time.  Once the first account is created, you can turn off the creation of new accounts in the settings.  This is important, as any user account in MaxCrypt can alter the settings.  All users share the same settings.

You can open the "Create New User" dialog from both the login box and the settings dialog.

You must enter in a User Name that will be associated with the account, and a password.  The password must be entered in a second time to confirm the password.  Passwords are case sensitive, so be sure to remember the password EXACTLY as you enter it. 

The "Password Analyzer" will test the following criteria to determine the strength of the password. 

• Contains both upper and lower case letters
• Contains both letters and numbers
• Contains at least seven characters

After you have successfully created the new user you can then login to MaxCrypt using your password.
